For Alejandro and I, Cuban rum has a big place in our lives. We were both born in the 1960s, and this singular spirit has been part of our life’s work for a long time. While Cuban rum is diverse, it remains unique.

It’s as connected to the land as it is to those who produce it. On the island of Cuba, sugar cane grows faster than elsewhere, as there is an ideal balance between the temperature and the degree of humidity. The extracted sugar is of exceptional quality, resulting in very pure molasses.

That’s why Cuban rum can only be made and matured in Cuba !
